A Whitewashed Tomb hit the shelves of a local book store for the first time September 2021, when Village Books of The Woodlands, Texas, had its grand opening and agreed to a partnership with the author. “At Village Books, we believe the role of every independent bookshop is to support and celebrate its community and serve as an incubator for young readers, new writers and literary adventures.”

Inktober 2020
Every year from October 1st-31st, millions of Instagram users participate in a drawing challenge called Inktober, in which the hosts provide a daily prompt that each participant must use to create an ink drawing, posting it to their account with the hashtag #inktober. This is my second time doing Inktober, and the first time I’ve made it all the way through without skipping any days.

A Whitewashed Tomb Celebrates One Year of Publication
On November 25th of last year, I officially published the paperback of A Whitewashed Tomb. On December 5th, the Kindle Edition became available and I announced my book to the world! I can't believe a year has gone by already since that day.

This month has been a pivotal turning point for me as an artist. This was the first year I participated in Inktober—an Instagram challenge started by Jake Parker in which artists all over the globe post an ink drawing every day for the month of October.

The Fault Paradox
Flaws. As writers, we’re told again and again that our characters need flaws to be believable, interesting, human. Are they not somehow endearing when manifested in the ones we love? Mr. Darcy, the proud; Hermione, the know-it-all; Sherlock Holmes, the drug-addicted sociopath. What a happy and bizarre paradox it is to know that our flaws can make us beautiful!
