A Whitewashed Tomb hit the shelves of a local book store for the first time September 2021, when Village Books of The Woodlands, Texas, had its grand opening and agreed to a partnership with the author. “At Village Books, we believe the role of every independent bookshop is to support and celebrate its community and serve as an incubator for young readers, new writers and literary adventures.”

On November 25th of last year, I officially published the paperback of A Whitewashed Tomb. On December 5th, the Kindle Edition became available and I announced my book to the world! I can't believe a year has gone by already since that day.

Loomis's book was nominated a finalist of the Young Author category in the 2018 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the world’s largest not-for-profit book awards program for independent publishers and self-published authors.
